    Gibson ain't my thing Yeah it's expensive but it has a pretty big flaw that being it tends to losen to quick so between songs you often have to retune your guitar The tone is pretty nice, and the bodies and heads are typically a nice material with a nice Shape How ever the neck is a place where it lacks probably more of a preference thing The back of the necks are really round and then the fret board is flat of course making it a perfect half circle which is uncomfortable and makes certain hand positions such as power chords bar chords and even basic scaling up and down to feel very awkward I'm more of a Jackson guy myself Feels better in the hands has a better tone (depending on what you want) the Biggest complaint i have with Jackson is that for some reason on Jacksons the input jack tends to lossen especially on certain models but really on all of them that i've used So just keep that bolt tight and you're ready to rock It will last all through a gig Or even just casual jam session no problem

    Great job, sir! I have a question, and I'm hoping you can help. I have this pedal, and I can't figure out how to change the tempo of the drum tracks once they're loaded in and playing. Thanks in advance. I hope your family is okay!

    • @whatsthisbuttondo2885
      @whatsthisbuttondo2885 День назад

      Hi my friend. I’ve experimented with that as well. Since the drum loops are prerecorded when you load them in you aren’t able to adjust the speed. I did find a trick using superior drummer or a beat buddy. You can load those into one of the 4 loops and then change the tempo on the devices and reloop It. But it’s essentially making a new drum track. That’s the one thing I wish it could do that the old EHX could do.

    I love my IR-D, especially after loading some York IR’s onto it. It really made a big difference compared to Dave’s. The overdrives are so clear I don’t even want to use my overdrive pedals anymore. My Iridium sounded flat and 2d in comparison. I never felt like the iridium changed much with the York IR’s. People seem to love the UA lion but I can’t stand it.

    This is a really useful demo/video. Nicely done. I don't understand why just "one second" as that is really limiting. I keep waiting for a company to build a pedal or box that focuses on Ratchets / Glitches precisely, so that they can be deliberately controllable to exacting tempos. Imagine the Sequential PRO 3 's sequencer functions in a pedal or box that could be used on guitar /vocals/ keys !

    • @whatsthisbuttondo2885
      @whatsthisbuttondo2885 7 дней назад

      Thank you so much. I totally agree that would be amazing. I’ve been able to get some controllable sounds with some of the red panda products but if someone really focused and made a good syncable product that could get you consistent ratchets and glitches when you want them. That would be killer.

    Ah I never make it up in time for the premiere anymore you guys lol Hey you know what I have a question though. My four main guitars (V2 '51 tele, V2 '61 strat, les paul std. 60s, les paul std. 50s P90 [why on earth would they send out the 50s model with 60s wiring!]) all came with modern wiring. I have others with various treble bleeds and don't like them, so I was thinking of either getting in there and changing them to 50s gibson style wiring, even the fenders, but I thought maybe it would be smarter to just replace the wiring harnesses with new ones so I can put the originals back in if I ever sell them. Only, I don't know if it's even possible to buy fender hardware wired that way. What would you do? I might just bring them in anyway. The Gibsons got plekked at the factory, but the Fenders may have high nut slots and high frets for all I know. In fact the low E on the Strat doesn't ring out well. All thud and fundamental with not enough sustain or harmonics, open or fretted. Saddle and nut look fine, so idk. The A and D strings can pop out of the nut on the tele as well, so maybe I should just bring them in lol Anyway just curious about the best way to get vintage wiring for all four, didn't mean to ramble lol

    'texture' CCW is nothing 'weird', it's sample rate reduction. tbh, it's one of a few things that disappoints with Onward.. quality and range wise. maybe it's because I'm more of a bit reduction ears ) good pedal though, it begs for more demo of its reactions to playing and various genres

    • @whatsthisbuttondo2885
      @whatsthisbuttondo2885 9 дней назад

      I think so too. It’s a controllable rate reduction which is nice but I’m like you I would like to get more variation. I’m hoping the stereo mode and messing with the dip switches will open up even more. But I do agree. Killer sound and I love that it is tameable rather than being too over the top.
